Welcome to Britannia Pier
18 March 2020
There is currently a lot of uncertainty in the theatre industry and entertainment industry more generally. You will no doubt have heard that a lot of theatres have
closed for the time being, and many shows, events and gigs have been cancelled.
The situation around COVID-19 (coronavirus) is changing on a daily basis. We have one show booked in for May and then our season of shows doesn't start until July 2020 so we feel it is
too soon to tell what might happen, and therefore too soon to make a decision about these shows.
We are monitoring the situation closely for anything that may inform this decision and we are in regular communication with the agents who provide our shows.
We will of course comply with any instructions from the government, and the safety of our patrons and staff is always paramount.
We understand that an answer that basically boils down to "we don't know" is frustrating for those who have already bought tickets as well as people who may be
considering purchases but the simple fact is that we don't currently know how our summer season is going to be affected. It is frustrating for us too. We will
endeavour to keep our customers informed about the situation as it changes, by posting updates to our website and/or contacting customers directly as the
It goes without saying that if any show needs to be cancelled then people who have booked will receive a full refund.
