Friends of the Theatre

Arcade Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Arcade Manager to oversee and manage daily operations at our amusement arcade in Great Yarmouth. This role requires a capable individual with proven experience in managing an amusement arcade, as well as skills in stock management and team leadership.

Please Note: Applications will only be considered from candidates with relevant managerial experience in the arcade or amusement sector.

Responsibilities:
Team Management: Oversee a team of employees, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
Staff Control: Manage staff scheduling, task assignments, and performance to maintain a productive and engaged team.
Stock Ordering and Management: Responsible for ordering and managing stock levels to ensure the arcade is fully equipped to meet customer demands.
Facility Standards: Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation throughout the arcade.
Customer Service: Handle guest enquiries, complaints, and requests professionally.
Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operations and a high-quality guest experience.
Training: Onboard new employees, including training on job duties, safety protocols, and customer service standards.
Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback.

Experience and Skills Required:
Prior managerial experience within the hospitality or amusement arcade industry.
Strong understanding of arcade operations and best practices.
Experience with stock ordering, inventory control, and team scheduling.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.
Proficiency in cash handling and managing floats.

Arcade Technician

We are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a fully-trained Arcade Technician to join our team for all of our Arcades in Great Yarmouth. We are seeking a highly-skilled and knowledgeable technician with extensive experience in all aspects of amusement arcade machines.

Please Note: Only apply if you have previous experience as an Amusement Arcade Technician.

This is a skilled role, and we are looking for someone who can bring expertise, precision, and a high level of technical knowledge to the position.

Key Requirements:
Cash handling experience.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
